stop supporting the myth that poor people don’t deserve to have “nice” things. because that sort of narrative continues to ignore the complexities of capitalism and struggle and takes us away from examining why it’s easier for someone living below the poverty line to get a smart phone than to get sustainable support for housing, employment at a livable wage, healthcare services, etc.

So if cisgender means identifying with your birth gender assignment…

If I were to have a child with a penis and I raised her as a girl… would she then be cisgender? Obviously people would treat her like trans person but the fact that I assigned her gender as a woman, wouldn’t she technically be cis? … I don’t know. I was just thinking.

I always thought of cisgendered as identifying with your birth sex. Not sure where that leaves intersex folks though.
